The Farm

Stream Farm is a 260-acre organic farm nestled in a hidden valley high up in the Quantocks in Somerset, owned by Rupert and Sarah and managed by Will and Charlotte. We are certified Organic and Pasture for Life, and focussed on sustainable, regenerative farming practices.

Our aim is to show that the British Countryside is far betterĀ served by large numbers of small farms selling their produceĀ directly to those who are going to consume it, rather than just a few huge farms selling to the supermarkets.

So we support new entrant farmers by giving them access to land and the opportunity to run one of the businesses on the farm, producing food and drink to the highest quality. We produce organic beef, lamb, pork, chicken, eggs, apple juice and raw honey, along with stream-fed fresh and oak-smoked rainbow trout, selling direct to customers in the local area and Bristol each week.

Central to the vision of the farm is our active Christian faith, which, shared by those who farm here, underpins all that we do.

Eight businesses currently run on the farm, through which we are able to provide the opportunity for those who want to farm to join, as share farmers, to gain experience and learn how to run a farming business. Each business is run by a share-farmer, who is self-employed, and has some level of investment in their business, gradually taking on the day-to-day running of it for at least a couple of years. All farmers contribute to the overall running of the farm and community outside of their business area, and come together for larger tasks throughout the year.

At Stream Farm we are committed to organic, regenerative farming, and seeing small-scale farmers flourish.
